The Story
The Witness Box at 36 Tudor Street, just off Fleet Street, was a Watneys house serving the legal and press trade of the Inns of Court. Tudor Street was emptied of journalism long ago; the Witness Box went with it. Still trading eight years later in the 1991 CAMRA guide.
