The Story
A basement bar under the Commercial Union Building at 15 St Mary Axe, in the beating heart of London's insurance market — Lloyd's was just around the corner. A Scottish & Newcastle house latterly operated by Trust Inns. Still trading in the 1991 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Initially closed in 2011, permanently closed 2013, and since demolished. The site is now a Costa Coffee.
