Sir Paul Pindar

213 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3YD, London

The Story

Named after Sir Paul Pindar, a 17th-century diplomat and merchant whose magnificent Jacobean house once stood near here (its facade is now preserved in the V&A). The pub was a friendly, recently renovated place with an upstairs games room and an excellent cocktail selection — 'formerly the King's Arms'. Lost to Bishopsgate redevelopment.

Ghost Hunter mode reveals 500+ closed and demolished pubs on the PINtPOINT radar — each one a room that once poured pints on that exact street corner.

Closure and address verified against CAMRA’s pub database. Community research from closedpubs.co.uk.
