The Story
A Fuller's pub on Hammersmith Road and a rock venue in the 1970s — AC/DC played their first British gig here in 1976. It was one of the 110 pubs in Fuller's 1977 Silver Jubilee ‘Quest for Silver’ passport; a surviving passport from the scheme is stamped ‘PUB CLOSED’ against it. It was demolished around 1981 and the site rebuilt as offices. A new Fuller's pub, Latymers, now trades at the same address.
The name continues. Latymers carries it forward.
