From the 1986 CAMRA City of London guide. Basement pub which possably replaces one called the Ticket Porter demolished long ago. Exterior resembles a World War II gun emplacement and the inside a large regency gentlemens library (the library, not the gentlemen). 11. 30 - 3pm, 5 - 9. 30pm.
