The Story

Pitcher & Piano's Bishopsgate branch at 200 Bishopsgate, opposite Liverpool Street. Two-floor site with a downstairs bar area, Marston's Pedigree and Wychwood Hobgoblin on cask. Closed around 2011 and the unit converted into a Boots pharmacy — reviews on pubsgalore.co.uk from May 2011 note the pub 'has been closed for some time and looks like re-opening as a Boots store'. Part of the theatrical-vanity Pitcher & Piano circuit that anchored the daylight-bar revolution of the mid-1990s City.

Ghost Hunter mode reveals 500+ closed and demolished pubs on the PINtPOINT radar — each one a room that once poured pints on that exact street corner.
