The Story
A Fuller's pub on the High Road at Cowley Peachey, near the Grand Union Canal, and one of the 110 pubs in Fuller's 1977 Silver Jubilee ‘Quest for Silver’ passport; its name recalls the passenger boats that once ran from here to Paddington. It closed and was boarded up in September 2018, and the site has permission for student housing.
