The Story
The Master Gunner at 37 Cathedral Place, overlooking Paternoster Square, was a free house in the shadow of St Paul's serving Charrington IPA and Fuller's London Pride. It's gone; the square itself was rebuilt completely between 1995 and 2003. Still trading eight years later in the 1991 CAMRA guide.
