The Story
An early Victorian pub on the King's Road, Grade II listed, with a bowed bar window framed by Corinthian columns and an iron balcony above. CAMRA's Real Beer in London listed it from 1977 for Ind Coope Burton Ale; in 1981 it was a ‘crowded pub with circular bar and beer garden at rear’. It closed around 1991 to become an Abbey National building society branch, and the building has since been a bank and a juice bar.
