The Story
At 1 Camomile Street, the Mailcoach was a Scottish & Newcastle house serving Younger's, a reminder of the northern brewers' grip on the City trade. Its corner site near Bishopsgate has been rebuilt several times since. Still trading eight years later in the 1991 CAMRA guide.
