The Story
The King of Diamonds on Greville Street, near Hatton Garden, had an unusual upstairs patio garden overlooking the market and two function rooms. A Taylor Walker house serving Tetley and Burton Ale, it closed in the years after the guide, taking the patio and the market views with it. Still trading eight years later in the 1991 CAMRA guide.
