A Fuller's pub which opened in September 1993 as Melton Mowbray and was subsequently relaunched as a Fuller's Ale & Pie House and renamed after a period of closure in early Summer 2015 retaining 8 hand pumps but with a greater food-led emphasis than previously.There are many artifacts from the
Fuller's left at Christmas 2022 and pointed regulars at Ye Olde Mitre. That is a recommendation, not a succession: the Mitre is a different court, a different freehold, and still pouring. The pub that genuinely stood in this hall before it was the Melton Mowbray.
