The Story
A bijou Mexican restaurant and lively bar tucked into a Waterloo Lane building that once housed the town's old police holding cells — genuinely one-of-a-kind in Chelmsford at the time. The bar poured an astonishing variety of drinks: brightly coloured shots, flavoured vodkas, continental beers, and cocktails. The site now trades as Voodoo Keller Bar (basement of 59 New Street), same corner building, new operator.
