The Story
Hackney Brewery's Walthamstow taproom ("High Hill Taproom", a 20-tap bar) operated at 10 Lockwood Way on the Blackhorse Beer Mile from c.2021 until it closed following a dispute with the council. The unit was subsequently taken over by 40FT Brewery, who opened their own Mile-resident taproom on the same site. The X account @HighHillTap remains active.
The name continues. 40FT Brewery carries it forward.
