The Story
Corney & Barrow's Broadgate Circle flagship, listed in the 1999 Evening Standard London Pub & Bar Guide. A glass-house structure in the gardens of Broadgate Circle, with TV monitors showing live financial data and a terrace that swept wide on both sides. Sullivan noted the summer croquet tournaments on the terrace, and how in winter you might see dancing horses or ice skating in the Circle. Food restricted to sandwiches — the space was too tight for a kitchen. C&B's wine-bar arm was sold to Drake & Morgan in 2016.
