The Story
At 26-28 Ray Street, the Coach & Horses was the prettier of two EC1 pubs with the same name — 'one of the nicest looking pubs both inside and outside in the area', according to the 1991 guide. Its garden and darts board are gone, the corner site now something else entirely.
