The Story
A Davy's Wine Bar operating as a free house — one of their more intimate, ale house-style spots rather than the usual wine cellar. The City Pipe served Davy's Old Wallop in the cosy, candlelit style Davy's perfected in the 1970s and 80s. Tucked into Foster Lane in the shadow of St Paul's, the name is a nod to the clay pipes once made in the area. A well-regarded City regular's spot, authentic and unfussy.
