The Story
Hidden through an alley off Moorgate, the Butlers Head was a large horseshoe-shaped bar with a cellar bar below. A proper City local — closed early evenings and all weekends, serving the lunchtime office trade. Telegraph Street itself was absorbed into the Moorgate financial district redevelopment. Gone but remembered fondly by those who found it.
