The Story
A small village inn at Kinmuck, near Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, and the first pub to be named CAMRA's National Pub of the Year — Wikipedia's list of winners gives 1988, while CAMRA's own record says 1989. Its bar was a haven for locals. It later stopped trading as a pub, became an Indian restaurant, and is now a private house.
