Curated Collection

Some pub journeys are too big for a single day — or even a single town. PINtPOINT Curated Collections are long-distance, feature-length maps to explore over weeks, months, or years.

Baddow Brewery Survivors

A curated collection of surviving pubs once tied to Baddow Brewery — scattered across Chelmsford, mid-Essex and out to the coast.

Baddow Brewery was founded in 1798 and its main brewery site was built in 1868 on Church Street, Great Baddow. Seabrooke acquired the company in 1927, ending brewing at Great Baddow. Its estate of tied houses is scattered across mid- and south-Essex; these are the survivors that still trade as pubs, bars, inns, hotels or pub-restaurants.
